Synastry Chart Tutorial

A synastry chart compares two birth charts, so you need two persons saved in your account first.

• Go to your Dashboard and click Persons
• Click Add Person and fill in the first person's birth details
• Enter their First Name, Last Name, Birth Date, and Birth Time
• Select Country and City — coordinates and timezone fill in automatically
• Click Save, then repeat the process for the second person

With both persons saved, you can now create a synastry chart to compare their birth charts.

• Go to your Dashboard and click Charts
• Click Add Chart
• Select Synastry from the Chart Type dropdown
• Choose Person 1 and Person 2 from the dropdowns
• Enter a Chart Name (e.g., "John & Jane")
• Click Save — the chart is calculated instantly

Your synastry chart displays both persons' planets on a dual wheel, along with a cross-aspect grid.

• Open the chart from your Charts list by clicking the view icon
• The inner wheel shows Person 1's planets and houses
• The outer wheel shows Person 2's planets overlaid on Person 1's houses
• The cross-aspect grid below shows all aspects between the two charts

The synastry chart also computes composite midpoint data, which represents the relationship as a single chart.

• Scroll below the synastry wheels to find the composite data section
• Composite positions are midpoints of each planet pair between the two charts
• This represents the combined energy of the relationship

Unlock detailed relationship insights by generating a compatibility report from your synastry chart.

• Go to your Charts page
• Click the reports icon on your synastry chart's row
• Choose a report: Synastry Pro for general compatibility or Love Compatibility for romance-focused insights
• Click Generate and read the personalized interpretation
• Use the download button to export the report as a PDF
