The Chakra spread maps your question onto the seven energy centers of the body, from Root at the base of the spine to Crown at the top of the head. Each card speaks to one chakra — what it's holding, where it's blocked, and what's asking to move through.
Read the chakra meanings below so you know what each position is telling you, then draw your seven cards.
What Each Chakra Means
- Root (Muladhara) — the foundation chakra at the base of the spine. This card speaks to your sense of security, your material needs, and your physical survival. It reveals whether you feel grounded or whether something is shaking your stability.
- Sacral (Svadhisthana) — the seat of creativity, sexuality, and emotional flow. The card here shows how freely your desires and feelings are moving, or where they're blocked. It often points to pleasure, intimacy, or the impulse to create.
- Solar Plexus (Manipura) — the center of will, confidence, and personal power. This card reveals how you're using your drive — whether you're asserting yourself or giving your authority away. It speaks to self-worth and the ability to act.
- Heart (Anahata) — the bridge between the lower chakras (body) and the upper ones (spirit). This card points to love, compassion, and connection — how you give and receive affection, and where forgiveness or grief may be asking for attention.
- Throat (Vishuddha) — the center of truth, voice, and authentic expression. The card here shows whether you're speaking honestly or holding words back. A blocked throat often signals fear of being seen; an open one brings clarity and aligned speech.
- Third Eye (Ajna) — the seat of intuition, inner vision, and perception. This card indicates what your deeper awareness is trying to show you: dreams, insights, patterns you've been ignoring. It rewards trusting what you already quietly know.
- Crown (Sahasrara) — the connection to the Divine, to pure consciousness, to everything beyond the self. The card in this final position speaks to your spiritual trajectory and where you're being invited to surrender, open, or remember your wholeness.
