The universe is a unified whole, whose parts are in constant motion and interaction, subject to the same laws. People of the three Fire signs — Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius — are warm, boisterous, and passionate about whatever interests them. However, they can be impatient, barely tolerant of what does not suit them, careless, excessive, irritable, and reckless.
Individuals with a great deal of Fire in their chart often appear selfish. They have such a desire to learn and see everything they can, as quickly as possible, that they tend to push aside anyone who stands in their way. Energy, action, creativity, and an appetite for life are their dominant traits. The sectors that fall in Fire signs in the horoscope represent the flame within us — a flame for success, growth, and creation — where our will is alive and no difficulty can stop us. Conversely, the lack of this element in a horoscope, meaning the absence of planets in these signs, indicates a lack of enthusiasm, vitality, and joy.
🌍 Earth
The element of Earth represents the positivity, intelligence, and effort dedicated to practical purposes. We can say that civilization, from a material standpoint, is primarily the work of this element. Those born under Earth signs — Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn — are hardworking and capable of completing a task even in its finest details. Sometimes, however, they are narrow-minded, show little broader interest, and lack idealism and passion. The absence of the Earth element in a horoscope indicates an inability to produce tangible and useful results.
💨 Air
As its name suggests, the element of Air is that within which every living organism breathes. Without it there would be no sound, no speech. It connects everything and concerns itself with thought and the world of ideas. People of the Air signs — Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius — are generally intelligent and refined. Their strengths are idealism and love of truth, while their weaknesses are a lack of practicality and emotional depth, as well as fanciful schemes.
💧 Water
The element of Water expresses emotional sensitivity and, consequently, a tendency toward protection. It symbolizes the receptivity and impressionability of people who belong to its signs — Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. Just as water has no shape of its own but takes the form of the vessel that contains it, so too do these people require appropriate guidance. Nevertheless, water has tremendous power, especially when it finds a channel, which is most clearly seen in the sign of Scorpio. The Qualities of the Signs

The Mutable signs express a need for versatility and the grasp of ideas. They are characterized by movement, transmission, and adaptation; they are flexible and capable of adjusting to changing conditions.
